Risk Disclosure Statement

Please read this carefully before making any investment decision.

Important Notice: Investing in livestock involves real financial risk. You may lose part or all of your investment. Read this document in full before proceeding.

General Risks

Livestock investment is subject to numerous risks including but not limited to animal mortality, disease outbreaks (e.g. bird flu, swine fever, foot-and-mouth disease), market price fluctuations, feed price increases, weather events, theft, and acts of God. None of these risks are fully within our control.

No Guaranteed Returns

All projected returns displayed on this platform are estimates based on historical performance and market data. They are NOT guarantees. Actual returns may be significantly lower, zero, or result in a loss of principal.

Market Risk

Livestock commodity prices fluctuate based on supply, demand, and seasonal factors. The sale price at maturity may be lower than anticipated, reducing or eliminating your projected return.

Mortality Risk

Animals may die due to disease, accident, or natural causes despite best farming practices. Our Emergency Rescue Pool provides partial protection but does not cover all scenarios.

Regulatory Risk

Changes in Nigerian agricultural, financial, or tax regulations could affect your investment returns or your ability to withdraw funds.

Platform Risk

LivestockVest by KOAF is a privately operated platform. It is not regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria. Your investment is not insured by NDIC or any government body.

Liquidity Risk

Your invested capital is locked for the plan duration. While our Exit Marketplace allows early exit, there is no guarantee a buyer will be found at your desired price or at all.

Your Responsibility

By investing on this platform, you confirm: (1) You have read and understood this disclosure. (2) You are investing funds you can afford to lose. (3) You have sought independent financial advice if needed. (4) You are at least 18 years old and legally authorized to make investments in Nigeria.
